چکیده

تحول رقمی، آرشیوهای قدیمی و جدید را به داده تبدیل می‌کند. درنتیجه، خودکارسازی در قالب فنون هوش مصنوعی، بیش‌ازپیش، هم برای گسترش مقیاس فعالیت‌های سنتی نگهداری اسناد و هم برای آزمودن شیوه‌های نوین ثبت، سازمان‌دهی و دسترسی به اسناد به‌کار گرفته می‌شود. در این مقاله، تحولات اخیر در نقطۀ تلاقی هوش مصنوعی با اندیشه و عمل آرشیوی را بررسی می‌کنیم. مرور ما بر این بدنۀ رو‌به‌رشد ادبیات، براساس مدل پیوستار اسناد سازمان‌دهی شده است. در ادبیات مربوط به آرشیوها و هوش مصنوعی، چهار مضمون کلی را شناسایی می‌کنیم: ملاحظات نظری و حرفه‌ای، خودکارسازی فرایندهای نگهداری اسناد، سازمان‌دهی و دسترسی به آرشیوها و شکل‌های نوین آرشیوهای رقمی. در پایان، روندهای نوظهور و جهت‌گیری‌های آیندۀ پژوهش را برجسته می‌کنیم. این جهت‌گیری‌ها شامل به‌کارگیری اصول نگهداری اسناد دربارۀ خود داده‌ها و فرایندهایی است که هوش مصنوعی نوین بر آن‌ها متکی است و نیز ادغام ساختاریافته‌تر ـ هرچند همراه با آگاهی انتقادی ـ هوش مصنوعی در سامانه‌ها و رویه‌های آرشیوی.

The digital transformation is turning archives, both old and new, into data. As a consequence, au-tomation in the form of artificial intelligence techniques is increasingly applied both to scale tra-ditional recordkeeping activities and to experiment with novel ways to capture, organize, and ac-cess records. We survey recent developments at the intersection of artificial intelligence and ar-chival thinking and practice. Our overview of this growing body of literature is organized through the lens of the Records Continuum model. We find four broad themes in the literature on archives and artificial intelligence: theoretical and professional considerations, the automation of recordkeeping processes, organizing and accessing archives, and novel forms of digital ar-chives. We conclude by underlining emerging trends and directions for future work, which in-clude the application of recordkeeping principles to the very data and processes that power mod-ern artificial intelligence and a more structural-yet critically aware-integration of artificial intelli-gence into archival systems and practice.
